Data Deletion Instructions

These instructions explain how you can request the deletion of personal information that CWS Poetic Artistry (Pty) Ltd may hold about you (for example, information linked to product orders, bookings, support queries, and communications).

How to request deletion

You can request deletion using either of the options below:

Option A: Request deletion by email

Subject line: Data Deletion Request

In your email, please include:

  • Your full name and surname
  • The email address and/or mobile number you used to contact us
  • If applicable: an order reference, invoice number, or booking details (to help us locate your records)
  • A short description of what you want deleted (for example: all my data, or order history only)

Option B: Request deletion via WhatsApp

Send a WhatsApp message from the number you used to contact us (or use the WhatsApp number shown on our Contact page) and type:

DELETE MY DATA

Please include your full name and the email/number used in your order or booking so we can confirm the correct records.

How we process deletion requests

  • We may ask for reasonable verification to confirm your identity and ensure we delete the correct person’s data.
  • Once verified, we will delete or anonymise your personal information from our active systems, unless we must keep certain records for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.
  • Where we must retain limited records, we will restrict access to them and keep only what is required.
  • We aim to action verified requests within a reasonable period (typically within 30 days).

What we may need to keep

Even after a deletion request, we may be required to retain certain information for compliance purposes (for example, invoices and transaction records). If we retain any data, we will limit access and use it only for the required purpose.

Third parties and fulfilment

If your request relates to an order that required supplier fulfilment and/or delivery, your delivery details may have been shared with the supplier or courier to complete delivery. We can delete our records and, where appropriate, we can direct you to the relevant third party for their own deletion process.
